HOLLY WOOD WHORE, PASSED OUT ON THE FLOOR

beckett's mother was a.. free spirit. it's more fair to call her that than a hippy. she was the kind of woman who wore vintage dresses and cowboy boots all year 'round. she was the kind of woman who drank scotch straight out of the bottle and sat outside her trailer home conversing with the neighbors in the middle of the summer. she was the kind of woman who watched breakfast at tiffany's fifty times over and wanted to be posh, but loved how the celebs named their kids poppy honey and moon zappa. she was the kind of woman who thought it was eloquent.
she was the kind of woman who thought children were god's gift to man, but that husbands were made by the devil. beckett is the second child of ten lovely pollack kids. yes, ten. and of course, they all have names as posh as him.
althea. beckett. creed. dicie. ellis. french. golden. hilton. ila. jules.
ten children. three girls. seven boys. you figure out who is who.
she was the kind of woman who encouraged her children to do what they felt fit them best. when creed took up drug dealing, she was the kind of woman who patted him on the back and told him to be careful.. she didn't have the kind of money to bail him out of jail. needless to say, beckett is the most normal child of the ten.
she was the kind of woman who had kids, but couldn't raise them. she was the kind of woman who relied on althea and beckett, her two eldest, to act as the rest of her children's parents. she was the kind of woman who loved with her whole heart, but just couldn't have the life she wanted and make it work by herself. but she was the kind of woman who was too proud to admit that she was wrong.
beckett? he was the kind of boy who took his mother in stride. he was the kind of boy who actually liked the way his mother ran, or didn't run things. he was the kind of boy who stepped up to the challenge and raised his siblings. he was the kind of boy who liked to do things on his own. he was just that kind of boy.
he was the kind of boy who thanked his mother every day for letting him expand his horizons. he was the kind of boy who need music like air and who was attached at the hip with his guitar. he was the kind of boy who was addicted to the needle after his first tattoo. he was the kind of boy who needed to be accepted by no one.
he was the kind of boy who loved the life he was given, because it made him grow into the kind of man he mother might have married, and that, was the best complement that a woman like his mother could give.
