HOLLY WOOD WHORE, PASSED OUT ON THE FLOOR

So, tell us something significant about yourself.
I grew up in suburban Illinois with both my parents till they divorced when I was about nine. At the time my parents were thought to be very much the religious type of people, but at the time of their separation our family became slightly outcast from our original catholic beliefs. Through the separation my parents, thankfully, still got along well and both remained in Illinois. I went back and forth between their houses on the weekends, along with my younger sister although we usually stayed with our mother.
Did it affect you?
Slightly, yes. Looking back on it now I feel as if watching my parents be mildly rejected by one of the most popular religious denominations around changes your outlook. Popular isn't always better, and its far from the most accepting group you could have. I fell out of religion, and certainly was never in with the real cliques, or the popular ones anyways. I always had my few friends that were close even though we stood out quite sorely, although my case was a tad..different? Being the leggy theater geek who came off as a little..gay that was really out there. Trust me when I say that. Most teenage boys aren't running in around in tight tight tight skinny jeans with scarfs tied around one knee. Besides that's not even accepted outside of high school. Even still my crowd of class skipping music playing band geeky friends, they were good to me in their own time.
Are you still like that?
Sort of, yeah. I went to college for theater/to become a playwright, with a minor in gender studies, whilst my friends were mostly involved in their music and artsy fartsy drawings. As for my case....I don't believe I was much of college, or even art school person. I was never much in high school and I didn't excel by any means whilst in college, so it became a total flop. I'm not much of a focused worker and I'm a complete procrastinator. Besides, between my attempts at awkward socialization and studying in isolation I was set for disaster. So here I am doing..almost nothing, except some writing and working at a shitty job at the local ghost-town of a blockbuster video store.
So that's why you came all the way here?
Not the whole reason, of course not! Trust me by age twenty one you wouldn't want to put up with snowstorms and ice for ages anymore either. Of course I did partially come to get out of college, but with attempting to be published and get my screenplays noticed I've stayed busy.
